Proper name [Albanian]

Forms: Êjte [alternative, Gheg], Enjëte [alternative, Tosk], Ejtes [alternative, Gheg]
Etymology: Based on the correspondence between e enjte (“Thursday”) and the descendants of Latin diēs Iovis, most likely artificially coined by Konstandin Kristoforidhi himself for his 1872 New Testament translation. Note how the form Ejtes in Rossi (1875) is not listed under Rossi (1866), page 266: “Giove” → “Jov, ɛot o hȣinìi rreiscme”. Mjeda (1932) harshly calls the attestation by Rossi a meaningless phantasy.
